This Ontario Ranch home had the usual suspects - cloudy glass and screens packed with dust and grime. It's one of those things that builds up so gradually you almost stop noticing it. But once it's gone, the difference is hard to ignore.
We pulled the screens off first. They were coated in a heavy layer of dust and debris - the kind that doesn't come off with a quick rinse. Proper screen cleaning means getting into the mesh itself, not just wiping the frame down. Once they were clean and reinstalled, the airflow and light coming through were noticeably better.
The glass was next. Hard water deposits and general outdoor buildup had left the panes looking dull and cloudy. After a thorough window cleaning on both the interior and exterior, the glass came out clear and streak-free. The upper pane on one window in particular - you can see the difference between cloudy and clean just in how the sky reflects off it.
What we like about this kind of job is that it covers everything. Clean glass. Clean screens. A home that looks sharp from the outside and lets more natural light in on the inside. It's a simple service but it makes a real impact on how a home looks and feels day to day.
Ontario Ranch homes tend to have a lot of windows, which means more surface area for dust and grime to collect. Staying on top of window and screen cleaning is one of the easier ways to keep a home looking well-maintained without a major investment of time or money.
