Roof algae is one of those things that sneaks up on you. It starts as a little discoloration up top and before long the whole roof looks dark and neglected. Left alone, it can actually break down roofing materials over time - so getting it off isn't just about looks. On this job, we got up on the roof and worked through the algae buildup section by section until the tiles were back to their natural color.
Once the roof was handled, we moved on to the windows. This home had a solid number of them - different shapes and sizes throughout, including a large arched window on the front exterior. We cleaned every pane inside and out, which is honestly the only way to do it right. Doing just one side always leaves something to be desired when light hits the glass at the wrong angle.
The window tracks were next. Tracks are easy to overlook, but they collect dirt, dead bugs, and debris constantly. We detailed each one out so everything was clean all the way through - not just on the surface you see every day. It's a small thing that makes a big difference in how the whole window looks and feels when you open it.
When you bundle roof cleaning and window cleaning together, you end up with a noticeable shift in how the whole exterior of the home presents itself. Clean glass and a clean roofline work together - one doesn't look right without the other. It's the kind of combination service that makes sense to knock out in one visit.
