We were out in Claremont taking care of biannual solar panel cleanings across a handful of homes in the neighborhood. Same streets, same type of setup - regular residential installs sitting on asphalt shingle roofs. Looks totally normal from the street. But up on the roof, the difference between a clean panel and a dirty one is hard to ignore.

Dust, bird droppings, pollen, and general grime build up on the glass surface over time. It doesn't take much to cut into your system's output. Even a light film across the panels can reduce how much sunlight actually reaches the cells. That's why we recommend cleaning at least twice a year - once to clear out whatever built up over the cooler months, and again mid-year to stay ahead of the summer heat cycle.

What you're seeing across these homes is the before-and-after of a solid cleaning. Some panels came in with heavy soiling - spotty residue, smeared debris, the whole deal. By the time we're done, the surface is clear and the panels are sitting exactly the way they're supposed to - ready to absorb light and do their job. No streaks, no leftover residue, just clean glass.

We work across Claremont and the surrounding Inland Empire area regularly. These kinds of biannual cleanings are one of the best low-cost ways to protect your solar investment and keep your system running close to its rated capacity. Clean panels just perform better. It's that straightforward.

Whether you've got a small array on the front slope or a larger system spread across multiple roof sections, we handle it the same way - thorough, careful, and efficient. If your panels haven't been cleaned in a while, they're probably overdue.
